I've been knitting this for a week now, at least. Every time I think I'm almost done, I re-measure and find that I want it just a little bit longer. This has happened three times so far and I'm so ready to be done with it. I'm thinking tonight. Hopefully. It's super-soft chenille and I'm loving it. And naturally it's supposed to be sixty degrees this week. Thank god for hockey, I get to wear scarves from August through April.
A skull washcloth, I think from Fluid Pudding. I finished this in one night, granted I went to bed after two a.m. but the Sox were in the Series and I was going to be up anyway....
This is the first time I've switched between knit and purl in the same row, I think I only screwed it up once (well, there are a few mistakes but only one with the switcheroo). Not bad, especially for a sleep deprived baseball watching freak.
Live Football Blogging: Randy Moss has caught four touchdown passes in the first half. Thrown by my man Tom. The Celtics have only lost one and a certain Squirt B hockey team is STILL undefeated!

I love the SKULL. Most impressive. Also, I think the scarf might now be too long.
Just sayin.
Too long? Virtually impossible. Unless I'm tripping on it. :) Which, btw, I'm not.
I saw that pattern at Fluid Pudding and printed it! I was thinking I will do black and orange squares and it can be all Halloweenie. I wonder if I can stitch them together like an afghan afterwards. We'll see...

Em, I'm not sure if you're a really good knitter, but I'm definitely NOT and it was fairly easy. I used size eight needles instead of six because that was all I had...
I would think you would absolutely be able to stitch them together, great idea.
Was it you that asked if my last name was really difficult? The answer is no, it isn't. It's a regular old word, just with one extra letter (like Paige, for example).
I just started knitting, but nothing that I've attempted even comes close to this. Wow, am I impressed!!
Oh, and the game last night, ROCKED!!
I love the scarf! The skull freaks me out a bit. lol
Not a bad time to be a Boston area fan is it? =)
(OMG LOL! My word verification is 'naikyd'! BAHAHAHAHAHA!)
The scarf is lovely, and the skull? Magnificent! (And what a great idea to stitch a bunch of washcloths together! I love that!)
