I did laundry during every commerical for the first four innings and managed to time my return so that I missed the first pitch or two after the commercial.
I got to talking with the boy and after the fourth inning I sort of forgot to leave.
All in all, I think it worked well. Don't you?
And don't worry - I've saved plenty for tonight.

omg...we were at a friend's house and when it was bases loaded and drew came up our friend goes, "if he hits a grand slam here, game's over." and he did. what a game. i can't wait until tonight's.
I got home from my sis's house just in time to turn it on and see the grand slam. Woohooo!! We missed the first of pitches of tonight's game,too, so I'm hoping for a similar result. Not that I'm superstitious, but hey, it's baseball.
