I wish I had tales to tell but seriously? We've been just around. Not spectacularly busy but I just haven't gotten around to posting.
However I am completely and totally exhausted.
A word to the wise....if you decide to place multiple holds at the library - all at the same time- for, say, Veronica Mars, Battlestar Galactica and Big Love - be prepared to watch a helluva lot of tv after your kids are in bed. Why I can't just return them unwatched I don't know. But I've been up far too late every night for the past two weeks.
Like two a.m. too late.
Other accomplishments?
I am this close to being a tennis pro on the Wii.
I've started thinking about embroidery and knitting again.
Made reservations to take the kids camping for a few days in New Hampshire.
I bought glue sticks and pencils for back-to-school.
I made this shrimp the other night and it was a huge hit.
*yawn* Three more episodes of Big Love and I'm home free!

Ooooooh embroidery!!!!
My boys do that with dvd's too - but then they realized that K can burn them and they can watch at a reasonable hour.
The pressure we put on ourselves!
You know my husband right, the one who tends to go a little sorry a lot insane every now and then.. Well he just bought the ENTIRE collection of Stargate SG1 on DVD... That's I don't know how many seasons... I know it was $300.00 though!
and you know what else...Smallville and Supernatural are coming out on DVD soon too, and Survivor is starting soon, and what the heck I still have to cook and clean and all the rest. UGH.
Oh and I just clicked over to read that shrimp recipe... now I just have to try it because she described it so well and I even laughed out loud as I read the entire thing :)
Have fun camping in NH :D
Oh.. and apparently I'm getting really good at this word verification thing, cause I thought for sure I was going to fail that last one ;)
We're camping in NH at the end of the month! Would be too funny to bump into you!
